Default 2003 HiLo 17' Los Angeles

Updated: For sale...a 2003 Hilo 17T Travel Trailer. We bought it new and have enjoyed it but now is the time for us (2 seniors) to transition. This trailer has beautiful/original wood interior but clearly the trailer is "used." In a day-time configuration there’s a bench seat/sofa and a dining table, and when ready for bed the bench and table convert into a wall to wall huge king size bed. When only I go out, I use one side as a single bed. In addition this trailer is equipped with the Hi-Lo Bunk adding possible additional sleeping space which the two of us used only for extra storage space. Highlights (original Manufacturer spec for some Hilos and its floor layout included in photos) include...
• Original three burner stove and oven, propane/AC/DC fridge, air conditioning, water heater and forced air furnace with thermostat and electric water pump.
• The bath also has its own sink, toilet and shower. There is a kitchen sink, too.
• Over the years we've replaced the AC/DC converter, tires, and the two marine batteries (3 years ago) as well as the gray/black water holding tanks.
• There is a small original solar panel on the roof that helps retain the battery charge when dry camping (we also take a portable generator on most trips). The hydraulic cylinder/lift system is original (with a manual override which we never had to use) and we've had no problem in using it. There are four trailer stabilizing jacks that can be easily raised/lowered manually but we used a "electrical lug wrench" to electrically raise and lower them.
• There are two propane tanks with gage with automatic "switch over."
• Trailer is wired for a land phone line and TV cable external connections with a (replaced) roof top TV antenna. We usually take portable TV, a satellite TV dish/box and microwave with us "to fill in."
• Grease jerks were added to the wheel bearing hubs to periodically grease the outer bearings.
• We did not use any weight distribution hitch system and the dry weight is stated to be 2690 dry according to Manufacturer spec sheet. We have towed it with a Chevy V-6 Trailblazer. It has been stored outside in southern california at our residence and is in fair to good condition. I have sealed the any known cracks via caulking as well as the roof edge. No known leaks.
• Internally the trailer is clean, with nice upholstery, no stains and all interior appliances work but the stove top is showing it age. Floor is nice with no known cracks, tears or damage...we also covered it with "throw" rugs. The bathroom and all plumbing are operational. The original 6 gallon propane water heater is operational.
• There is a small internal closet where the back of it and trailer side wall may need some work for a firmer attachment of the wall...however, very functional.
• And we added a bike rack in the back.

Sold as is with a new asking price of $6550 OBO. The trailer is available for viewing in Los Angeles. ThreeOneZeroNineteenEightyOne
