Default Thanks

Thanks for the reply with the list of sites. I check the first two regularly and I have looked at the last before. A new one is outside my price range.

Most of the Hi-Lo's I find are the larger models. But there is time til camping weather this springs.

Thanks again.

JED

looks like a good price and the drive wouldn't be too bad on I 80 west

Default 17t

Thanks Les. The trailer looks very nice.

I have done the US50/I80 trip many times with relatives in Fresno and Crescent City. Can be "interesting" this time of year.

Thanks again.

Default update

Tried to buy a 2005 17t in Grand Junction, CO. Trip is 300 miles and 3 mtn passes - one 11,300. Kept trying to schedule a viewing between snow storms but the owner always had an excuse when I tried to drive over. Finally tells me he was waiting til his next door neighbor to sell his sailboat and buy the Hi-Lo. Day before I was to drive over - another reschedule - he tells me this and he sold it to his neighbor. Unit in good shape, needed awning and battery, and the price was $6000. Oh well.

Sorry this didn't work out for you. Keep looking I'm sure you will find one. Maybe closer to spring time.

Most people are just going to sit on them all winter. They know they will take a hit on the price to try and offload them when the north is buried in snow. Either that or they are leftover for sale all last summer but we're priced to high in the first place to sell. Occasionally you get somebody moving or an estate but be ready to jump on those deals. Non-scam bargains on Craigslist go within hours not days.

Default trailer purchase

Thank you everyone for the assistance in purchasing a trailer. We bought a 2005 Trailmanor 2619 today. Pick up next week.

I know it something of a turncoat buy, but it is somewhat in the family.
