I have a 1705 that the awning was destroyed by a very strong wind. The mechanism appears to be intact, I just need the fabric portion. If anyone has one or knows where to get one please let me know. Thanks, Dave

Contact the Dometic Factory direct to get the original fabric replacement. They are located in La Grange, Indiana. I just replaced my 14 footer last year. Check my post on August 5, 2011 for a method I used explained in detail. The HiLo awnings are shorter than the standard. You can get an inexpensive replacement off Ebay but it will have to be shortened by about a foot and by the time you go to the trouble and expense of having it done, I'd recommend going with the OE Fabric.
Good luck. Jerry Curtis 2406 T |

Please check with my HiLo dealer friend, I'm sure he has or had an awning for a 1705. It was brand new and is rolled up and sealed in a tube. He may very well still have it. Daley Camper Sales, Titusville, PA 814-827-2637. Tell him Rich told you to call.
