Default Need Bunk Bed

We have a 2008 towlite 22t and need to install the bunk bed. Currently, it has the optional cabinets...but, we want to replace them with the bunk. If anyone has one they would like to sell along with the hardware, let me know and we can work something out. We live in Columbia, Missouri. Thanks.

Do you also have the hardware ? I will not be attending the rally in June but, wish I could. I don't know of any time soon I will be traveling that way either. Too bad...I would love to have this.

I don't suppose it could be shipped somehow ? I'd pay for it.

What a great excuse to go camping!

You folks should find a campground somewhere halfway between your locations, and rendezvous.

Default Bunk bed

Just aq crazy thought. If you took the bunk with you to the rally in june Maybe you could ship it from Ill. It might be cheaper.

Sam I like the way you're thinking... and continuing on that thought train, perhaps someone returning home from the rally will be traveling the I-70 corridor in Missouri, and wouldn't mind hauling an extra souvenir as far as Columbia!

Food for thought. So there you go Ckindle, check it out!

Thanks for brainstorming shipping ideas. The main issue is that I need to get the bed installed before the rally date otherwise, I would drive up and get it. I plan to vacation for a couple weeks at the end week of May - first week of June and need the extra sleeping space at that time.

Default Bunk bed

I also had thought that some one might be going to the rally and might be able to transport it further. I didn't want to volunteer or even ask anyone for that favor. HiLo folks will do anything within reason to help out. As my dad would say we are onto plan B. Looks like you need to get a price on shipping. My husband worked in shipping and his boss always got three estimates as the prices can greately vary. Hurry and ship it as the gas prices keep going up weekly.

Default Bunk bed shipping

Just remembered this story. Some one lost their dog while on vacation. It was found and several rv people did a relay to get the dog back home!!

The bunk is about 84" long and is about 44" wide and weighs close to 50 pounds. It will take a full length pickup bed to fully contain it. We hauled one from the factory in the back of a Chevy Suburban and it took up much of the rear space.

I have a feeling the shipping costs are going to be pretty high for this. I am researching an alternative so I need to halt any more effort to get the bed shipped to me. Thank you for all your effort already expended...and maybe someone will purchase the bed a little more locally.

Motor freight is about the only way you can ship it. $$$ Or, pay a friend with a full size pickup that wants something to do.

If it doesn't work out I'd be interested in it. Where are you in Ohio? I go up there a lot.

Thanks

Yes, I am pretty sure my alternative is working out. So, thanks for trying to get the bed to me.

boxer46 - Is it still available? I'll be in Mansfield, OH September 17th. I'm not sure how far this is from you. Thanks
