Is your upper door damaged or rotted out? You can rebuild the door yourself. It doesn't take any particular skill, just common sense. I rebuilt the upper door on my 2001 two years ago. The construction is quite simple. HiLo used (approx dimensions) 2 x 2's for the sides, 1 x 8 for the bottom, and 3 pieces for the top to form the arch. The inner part is a piece of styrofoam that the window sits in. I was able to reuse the upper arch assembly. The replacement boards were made of treated lumber. Now my door is stronger than ever. Hope this helps.

Correction, make that 2 x 8 for the bottom. At any rate it is all dimensional lumber obtained at Home Depot. Once the door is apart, you can get the correct dimensions for the wood and go from there.

Thank You! I copied what you said and I'll give to hubby. Now he will know it isn't gonna be to difficult to fix. The window leaked on the hi lo we just purchased and he is gonna fix it. Sounds like it will be an easy and not to costly repair.
Thanks,
Becky
