Default TowLite a Hi Lo?

I just bought a 97 TowLite 21 TL and was wondering if it was a type of Hi Lo or an entirely different manufacturer? I'm trying to get the blue book value for it

Welcome, Towlite was made by Hi-Lo. They are a bit lighter than the classic Hi-Lo's and have fewer features and less width. I have a Towlite and am happy with it. They are listed separately in NADA Blue book as TowLites but NADA values are much lower than I've seen most go for? Price depends a lot on area of the country you're in too. good luck. Look in the library section of this forum for brochures on Hilo classics and towlites. Others can answer more question.

Thank you all so much. I went in and talked go my local Rv dealer and he told me he would sell it for 10k :twice what I paid for it but when I entered the info in. NADA it came up at under 2k. The dealer told me that NADA is what banks use to determine how much they could loan on it and does not reflect actual buying or selling price. Thanks again.

Reeny,

I think your dealer is a little over optimistic. We just purchased a 2006 22Ft Towlite for about the same price that he would sell your 1997.

Our 1997 had severe dry rot and water damage and so we had to practically give it away.

I suspect that you actually paid what it was worth.

Where are you located? They're usually cheaper in FL and most expensive out West. I agree that NADA is always too low on these trailers. I'd say $5,000 is about right.

From 2002 forward, Towlites and Classics are listed together on NADA.
