Question Can I raise my hi-lo trailer so someone over 5'10" won't bump head on air conditioner

Can I raise my hi-lo trailer so someone over 5'10" won't bump head on air conditioner.

I'm trying to sell my trailer. It seems that almost everyone is too tall and bumps their head on the air conditioner. I am 5'7 and i fit under the air/conditioner.
Is there a way to raise it higher? It seems like there may be an inch where it is not raising up but 1 inch isn't enough either. Thanks!

Kristine

Yes I think you can raise the upper limit of the lift by adjusting the collar on the hydraulic tank at the front of the rig.
But check for instructions in your manual or online first..

Nope! Not without modifying the construction of the the trailer, which wouldn't be worth the expense and effort.

That seems to be low. I am 6 foot and I can stand under the AC in mine with about an inch of clearance. Maybe it's a different model AC.

Is the top raising up to its full intended height? Check to see if the upper and lower seals are coming together at full up. If not, the cables need adjusted.
