Default Confusion with VIN number

I just brought home my first Hi-Lo 2208T and have a question about the VIN number. On the tag on the front of the unit, It says vehicle ID# and gives a 17 digit number. On the roof section roadside there is another tag that gives weight ratings and states VIN number. It is also 17 digits. The two numbers are the same except for the 5th, 6th, and 7th digit from the left. The title matches the one on the front tag. Can anyone explain to me the difference. Will this cause an issue when I go to the BMV? Thanks for any info.

Just checked my 2209T and both numbers are the same. Lift the battery cover and the last number digits of the VIN are stamped on the top of the A frame on the door side.

I think the # on the front tag is the official VIN.

Thanks for the info. The 5 digit number is stamped on the frame also. I didn't know if the one was a serial number or not. I don't believe anything will cause me an issue. I bought it from the original owners. Going to take it out this weekend and dry camp. This will be nicer than the old tent camper I had by far.
