Default Extreme windy weather

We've had two really windy days. Good thing we store close by and are able to check on our sunbrella cover. Twice we have had to bring the ladder over and recover. The last windstorm was with 55mile an hr. gusts. It ripped one of the black straps off(didn't rip the material.) We didn't loose the strap. Something else to have our local canvas shop fix. We roped off more sections of the under belly. Decided to order a spool of bungie cord. I call that tackling the problem by force. Plenty of gromments to attach the bungie cord to. Last year I purchased some black tarp clamps at Walmart. One end has a hole in it and the other end has a good size jaw clamp. Works real well and not all that expensive. If memory serves me correctly it was in the aisle with the small hardware. Our power at the house was off for 1hr. 15 min. Just long enough to mess up all the time on the microwave and clocks. Where DH works a fairly young pear tree lost some branches. Mondays chore will be to get the chainsaw out and clean up the mess. Can you say free firewood!! Today I made a reservation for camping in August. Sounds good 75 degrees instead of todays temp of 38. Typo: grommets
