Smile First timer

Hello everyone, well I bought my first Hi/Lo and loving it. I always had a thing for Hi/Lo's so when I got the chance to buy one I did. It is a 1986 Fun Chaser 20 footer. Everything is mechanically sound and in working order but alot of water damage on the inside. The previous owners neglected it for sometime and vary little maintenance was done. Just sat rotting away in the sun and rain. Needless to say, the roof and seems needed to be re-sealed and the plastic sunroof top had a huge hole in it so I replaced it with a new one right away. The bottom half sustained minimal damage but I could not say the same for the top half. My Dad and I have been working on it all week. We tore out all the side walls and the ceiling as they were water rotted and crumbling apart. The cabinets were good with vary minimal damage. Its sad to say, but I don't know how people can just neglect such a great travel trailer. But no worries, I will bring it back to life. Got the new ceiling up yesterday, so just giving the adhesive the 24 hour cure time. Tomorrow we will put in the new walls willing the weather permits. I'm hoping it will be road ready by Monday.
