Anyone know how to remove this little padded wood thing from over the door? Took the buttons off and removed the screws holding the snaps but that did nothing. Don't see any other screws.

Nevermind. A hammer and flat bar works great if anyone else should ever try and remove it. There are 2 screws but I don't know how you are supposed to get to them. I just started at one end and drove the flat bar in till the screw broke, then grabbed it and yanked the other screw out. I'm not putting it back up anyway. A little spackle and some paint and it will be good as new.

See the 2 button snap caps on the front of the pad, take flat screwdriver and pry them off then unscrew the rest of the cap parts, then dig around with a screwdriver for the 2 screws that hold the pad on. Screwdriver good, Hammer & Flat Bar not so good

Yeah I wasnt going to put that back. But of course as soon as I took it out I found out the hard way why it was there. Ouch! Thinking maybe I better put it back now. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to be tall.

I thought it was such a good idea, that I put a similar "head bumper" on the upper door frame out of my storage shed. It's much nicer to hit that with my nearly hairless dome than the hard wood frame!

Glad you decided to put it back. It makes the RV look pretty. Good for resale to keep it original.

It's gotta be reupholstered with everything else first. The pink just has to go. What were they thinking? Just plain hideous. All the upholstery will soon be spruce green. Not my favorite pick for a green but seeing as I found 10 yards of microsuede in that color for $30, spruce green it is.

Pink! I don't blame you for removing it. Mine's a neutral beige carpet material.

Yes it was really horrible Jack. I think that's what put me on the total remodel kick. I tried to dye a piece but that velour material won't take the dye. But apparently my material has only traveled from Minnesota to Iowa in 4 days so it's gonna be pink a bit longer

When we go to RV shows I never see any interior colors/designs that say wow to me. Mostly tans and browns so they won't show the dirt. I refer to them as "coffin colors".

Sam, I agree with you wholeheartedly. Same with so many SUV's and pickups these days. C'mon, ditch the silvery/champagne, step out and buy red, blue orange or just some fun color.

That is an interior of an Airstream. I saw another Airstream that was totally redone in wood it is"drop dead gorgeous".

Yeah that is the Swiss Army Knife Anniversary edition. I love the color scheme. Very modern but also very hard to achieve in anything other than an Airstream.

Let me know how to get the radius walls to work in a hi-lo, nice color of the interior

Was it pink or dusty rose? I liked our towlite because there was no velour to go in and out of style. The cushions are a nice green with cream and blue accents and the folding walls are a light tan to match to wood. I agree on the brown and tan interiors being somewhat dreary. We love the towlite because of all the windows it seems airy. Most smaller trailers have fewer windows.

There's a trick to those radius walls, but I can't give away all my secrets . I meant the color scheme. I actually figured out how to do it then I thought I would save some money by doing it this way. Boy was I wrong. Lowes has some paint that looks like metal. That would achieve the aluminum look of the Airstream walls. The rest is just black, red, and white paint and the overall color scheme could be achieved. The accessories are a whole different ballgame.
