I found a deal on the hi lo size and set up I want, the pictures sent to me sure looked good. my buddy stopped by and found 2 issues not shown in pics. what does everybody think. worth getting for a really good deal and repairing or keep looking. no interior leaks. no damage behind wall covering. everything else works well

Welcome to the forum

Not quite sure how the bathtub wall got damaged like this. If showers were taken in this condition then water would have gotten in. Dh and I have a classic HiLo. You would have to tear the wall out all the way to the aluminum. Then bracing may be necessary on the interior. You may not be able to match the wall paneling. I would try J&R in Ohio. After that maybe something from HD or Georgia pacific paneling from ACE Hardware. I used HD liquid nails from Walmart(cheapest). The next consideration is do you have the time and skills to fix this? Can't comment on the exterior aluminum damage as I have fiberglass on my HiLo. You also could have water damage on that exterior corner. You really don't know until you rip it apart. Best of luck with your decision.

Pass on this trailer needs total upper half rebuild just by the pics I see
Look for a 2001 or newer model when they started using aluminum framing
I had a towlite likes this one too much rot then got a 2006 towlite which I have had for 8 years so far

Don't believe seller rot behind wall paneling caused by leaks at roof line and wall I had this model and year as my first hi lo

I'm with campthewestcoast, don't believe the seller! that bathroom wall didn't peel without water from somewhere.
I may be wrong, but the front aluminum panel just doesn't look right for a Hi Lo.

I passed on it and getting a newer Hilo. 2208t is what I'm looking at now.

I agree

I agree with all the posters to pass on this one. You want to go camping. Not spending all your time fixing some one else's mess!!

Glad you passed on the purchase. If the seller was not up front about the obvious problems, what unseen problems might be lurking for any buyer?

Looks like it has been "repaired" several times in the past. Pass it up as there are better ones out there.

I picked up a 2208t in very good shape, thanks everyone.
