Kelly,

On this forum you will find much information that will help you fix the cable and other issues.

Under the reference section, you will find manuals and brochures for many years. The general systems and floor plans didn't change much from year to year. So you can use manuals near your year.

There is a forum thread describing in detail maintaining and replacing the cable.

Not the best idea to powerwash it. You can drive water into places that can do unseen damage, because of broken seals around windows, vents, door and A/C etc. Better to scrub with brush using good RV cleaner or soupy water. Be sure to inspect roof for pin holes and seal if you find any. Read previous post here on the forum on this problem.

I second that do not power wash. As you probably know Hi-Lo is out of busness, but there are two places that sell parts.
I am on my laptop and don't have the link to them, but search the forum the links are posted.

Default cable replacement

call j&r in butler ohio (links in this forum) with your model number and they can send you a cable. If it was me, (from experiance) i would check the rest of your cables first to see how bad they are.usually if one breaks, an other is about to also. best of luck
