Default Jack knife couch

New to the world of Hilo's. Fell in love with them while searching for a new camper. I bought a 2693rb and I can't get the couch to open in bed position. I have lifted front of couch and tipped it back, also I tried pulling back of couch forward to get it to open and it still won't lay flat is there some kind of locking mechanism under couch. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Robin

One of the trailers had this problem at the rally. Check the bolts out at the hinged area on both sides of the couch. The problem with the unit at the rally was the nut came off of one of the bolts. The bolt started to come out and got bent. This prevented the couch from functioning properly. Replaced the bolt, checked all the nuts for tightness, and it worked like new. Hope this helps.

You have to push the bottom part of the couch all the way up towards the back of the couch until it clicks and releases and then you will be able to lower it down and the back of the couch will lower then also. My wife has had it not lower when she was trying to get it down, and it is not as easy as one would think to get it lowered.
