Default jacknife sofa clearance

We have just purchased a 1984 HiLo 17'. side sofa and back bathroom. We have not seen it yet. Daughter and SIL checked it out and brought it to our Ohio home. My question. When the sofa is in the bed mode, how much aisle is left to get to the bathroom. Also if anyone knows the demensions of the fridge opening. This is such a great information site for HiLo's I am so glad I found ya'll. This is our first HiLo. I can hardly wait to see it in person.

I don't under stand your post if it is at your home why can't you check it out? Hi-LO has made some changes to the 17 ft lounge over the years but if you look in the Reference Library in this forum at one of the brochures you can get an idea of the 17 ft layout. I think all HI-LO smaller models had the bath in the back. As for the fridge an 84 model may or may not have the original fridge. Best check it out and see whats inside.

hi Peggy,
i also have a 1984 but its the 21ft model. when my clicker sofa is open there is just enough space to get back and forth but not enough for me to leave it down as a bed. i have dogs that go camping with me and that would leave no floor space for them or their dishes.
i had to get a fridge for mine too, i bought one at walmart for $139. its like a dorm or mini fridge electric only. i am always plugged in so that fine with me.
i hope to reverse my set up and put the dinette across from the sink.
thats my plan anyways.
welcome to the board. there is lots of info here at your fingertips.

It is at our Ohio home. We are at our Florida home. I will have to wait till May to check it out. Thanks for the info on the Reference Library. I will go there.

Thank you for your answers. It helps a lot. I will also be setting the couch up during the day but was concerned about those pesky middle of the night visits. Peggy
