Default Lo-Hi?

Hi,

Wanted to pick up a gutted camper to make a mobile art studio. Found one that fit the bill on Craigslist. The labeling indicates it is a "Lo-Hi". I've heard of Hi-Lo, but not Lo-Hi. It wasn't painted on in jest, it is an actual decal. Does anyone know about Lo-Hi?

I'm not seeing any "telescoping" characteristics in it. But, the decal certainly makes it look like it was manufactured by the HiLo company in Butler. I wonder if it was a 1st year model? Something before they perfected the lifting concept?

It is a fixed height. It does not telescope at all. Can't figure out what it is.

It's probably one of their experiments that they had over the years they were in business.

Thanks. Any input is appreciated. I plan to give it a new paint job but wanted to figure out what the label meant first. On the off-chance it is a rarity people want I figured I shouldn't mess with the finish until I have the facts.

The only thing I can find online regarding "lo-hi" other than the listing for the one I bought is from a San Bernardino newspaper from 1967.

Since it looks "vintage", I googled for vintage lo hi and didn't get anything but I'm wondering if it might be related to the Lo Liner like this: Lo-Liner on Pinterest if not, you might try asking at a vintage travel trailer forum. I love the vintage trailers, all of them!

It was made by the Snyder Trailer Co. which became HiLo Trailer Co.
