Need Help!

We cannot find a year on our Hi Lo. We bought it last night for $1000. It needs some work but not a whole lot. All I can tell you is all the floor plans do not seem to match ours. When you walk in the door on the right are 2 couches (probably the dining area, but the table is missing). To the left of the door is the refrigerator. Across from that is the stove and double sink. On the other side of the Refrigerator and the stove are 2 more couches and then at the end of the trailer is the bathroom. There is LOTS of paneling and the cushions for all the couches are orange. It's pretty long maybe 25-27 feet???? Any ideas how we can find out what year it is? I have a VIN # but that does not seem to help neither.

Welcome to the forum! Do you have the title? Hi-Lo's are measured from the tip of the tongue to the rear bumper. See if you find a decal on the forward street side with the model number. They are labeled with the length and year. For example, my trailer is a 2404 which means it is a 24' and a 2004 model.

8429

Thank you for your help. We did find something that says 8429 followed by letters and a few more numbers so we believe it is a 1984 and I would say 29' is accurate on the length though Tim thinks it may only be 25'. I would say by the oranges and browns and paneling that the trailer is done is 1984 may also be pretty accurate though my guess would have been mid to late 70s. LOL Thank you again for your help.

I have a 1981 model and yours is newer than mine. 84 may be accurate.

We are hoping to find a model number somewhere once we get to tear into it. Nights and Weekends will be the most productive as our work schedules can be pretty demanding at times.
