Default new battery box

last fall I made some changes to the battery box. Most of the original parts had been lost due to use and wind.
I moved the battery lower in the tongue area and covered it with a step late.
A small amount of fabrication needed.

Completely covers battery and pump/electrical connections.

Looks nice. So, do you need to remove the hitch brackets to open the box?

No
The plates are notched for the hitch mounts
