Default New to this forum....1965 HiLo owner

Good morning, Campers.

Just bought a 1965. Have had her out twice down here in So Cal. She's great fun and we are looking forward to learning more about your group!

Happy trails...

Default Welcome!

Welcome to the Forum!

The HiLo looks like a dandy. I don't think there are many 65 models that look that nice. Enjoy!!

Check in often!

Phil and Deb -- 1965!! That was the year I graduated from high school! I wish I looked as good as that Hi-Lo 49 years later.

We have a 1964 hilo. I see that you raise and lower your hilo from the rear. does it rachet up and down? Is your crank handle removable? Ours is not.

Would love to see more pics of your 65 Hi lo, particularly the exterior. What size is it? I noticed the cranking mechanism on the back of the trailer looks very similar to the one we have on our 64 homemade Hi Lo. Is it a ratcheting type? Our is not and our handle isn't removable as I have seen on other vintage Hi Los.

Welcome to the forum!

On the Forum's main page scroll down to the Library section, then click on "Hi-Lo Owner Manual". There you will see a listing of threads where people have added copies of their manuals. I do not see anything listed for 1984 but if you go to a model year close to 1984 you will probably find a manual that will be close to your 1984. The manuals did not change much from year to year, nor were they model specific.

Welcome to the forum. Five California Hi*Lo owners just returned from a four night campout in Columbia, CA. This was a first for all of us and we have tentative plans for a campout at Mt. Madonna the first part of January. It would be great if you could join us.

Thanks so much for the timely posting! My father-in-law just picked up a 1965 hi-lo and from the pics it looks identical to yours. He doesn't have any other details. Do you have model, length, etc? Thank you for sharing!
