Default New owner of a 75' 2175B

Hello I had a Hilo that was given to me that is in fairly decent shape but does need a little tlc. It has what looks like wallpaper stuck to plywood that is going to be replaced. My question is what would be a good replacement

I painted over ours - the integrity of the walls with the wallpaper seemed to be more important. A good paint covered perfectly and it was less work.

I recently replaced the old paper in my 1990 model or what was left of the old paper. I used self adhesive which in a lot of spots I have had to go back and glue it with Elmers glue. In the bathroom I used pasted wallpaper around the lower wall above the tub and behind the toilet and have had no problems with it at all. I totally removed the vinyl on the ceiling and primed and painted it. Looks really great. I removed the stained molding strips first and then screwed them back after painting. You will probably find some water damage spots around the windows which can be patched up first. Luckily I had no damages or water spots on the ceiling.

I met a couple that had painted their interior. they told us about TSP, a product designed for this application. You can find it at the big box stores. Follow directions and the paint STAYS on.

Tree- are you saying clean with TSP (trisodium phosphate) or is there another product known as TSP?

Thanks!

KnottyRig, Wish I had a box here to take a pic of, sorry. It's in the paint dept of the big orange box store. It's mixed with warm water, wash the surfaces down, I even used a soft brush and got into the corners. Then the area is wiped down with clean water and your done. We applied our choice of colors and truly have never had a problem since. Brightened the entire unit up from the darker paneling.

Yea, that sounds like the cleaner (comes as a powder). Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on something new!

Thanks
