After living in my 22ft Fun Chaser, I came to the conclusion - I want a bedroom...

Looking now and then I came accross a couple here and there, but most were far away or never replied to me so I came accross a 1996 2896B Bon Voyage. I'll pick it up after new years... I also like the idea of having an awning - without spending over $1,000 to get one.

Looks like a very nice unit. Congrats on the find. Have fun making it your own.

We own a unit just blike the one pictured and we love it!!!! we had a 26 ft. but we've been spending winters in Florida and wanted some more sitting room for guests so we purchased the 28 ft, they listed it as 31 ft.though. hope you like yours as much as we do.

Thanks guys... lokking forward for a little more "elbow room"....

The outside is the "newer" style siding, while the inside keeps the "older" cabinetry feel that I like about mine, not to mention the added storage this one has around the bottom skirting.

Nice looking, congrats. It looks exactly like my 1999 29' Classic, they must not have changed much from those years in between?

Well, picked it up on Thur and towed it with my van... Great day to pick it up - sleet, rain mix on the way home. The little van did fine - but it was empty... gonna need a truck or bigger van.

I had to do a "repair" on the furnace almost first thing - the motor had come lose and was rubbing on the housing when running... sounded like a freight train coming through LOL - I was waiting for the explosion. Easy enough fix.

Love the larger fridge.

Tank monitor actually works. HWH works. Kitchen kinda smallish, but not bad - I'm used to the 6' of counter the fun chaser had.

Got lucky and it has a new converter... My fun chaser didn't have the "switch" for the top, so that took a few minutes to figure - pretty easy though after reading others from here.

The rear hatch was left unlocked, the first thing that went wrong was the top would not raise - door held it from raising... Got that sorted once I looked though the window and saw what was happening.

Gotta put new stabilizers on it - these are pretty beat up, but they work for now.

Can't find all the switches for the outside lights though... found the one in the switch door for the "docking" lights, but only one side comes on... maybe the bulb is blown on the other side? The switch for the front one is froze.

New to you HiLo.

Glad you got your new HiLo home in one piece. Sounds like you got your furnice fixed in time to take the chill off with the rain. Now the test is how much you have been paying attention to all the posts and can you now figure everything out? Our temps are going to be in the 40s for the next several days with rain. Our January thaw. Already alot of the ice and snow have melted. Should all go away. We are busy helping a friend of ours that just got an older house. All the wallpaper you care to steam, scrape. Layer after layer.
