speakers

Where are the speakers located on hilo 2510? Has a jensen radio but can't locate speakers.

Jensen is an upgrade, for sure. Mine has two sets of speakers. One either side of the radio, and a set in the bedroom. Can have all or each set. If you can't get noise, then maybe the previous owner kept the speakers or they are well hidden.

Get some Youn'un with good ears..to find them....I find as I get older I hear OK but telling where its coming from is TRYING...good luck

Cranked the radio all the way up, not a whisper from anywhere in the camper. Can see where speaker wire go up in the ceiling but cannot find one speaker in the whole trailer

fernjohntexas 02-17-2019 03:47 PM

There are no holes where speakers used to be that i can find either

I believe the speakers were either on the underside or on the front side of the overhead cabinets.

Treeclimber 02-17-2019 06:32 PM

Maybe previous owner just used headphones.

I think you will find there are double bottoms in the overhead cabinets and the speaker wires are contained in the cavity. I'll have to check with my wife's cousin that has the factory installed sound system in his 2409T. It's essentially the same as your 2510H.

I have a feeling previous owner installed radio, i think i will just add a speaker in the cabinet for now to test radio

The cousin said there are speaker wires that go to the front bulkhead.

Ok, thanks. will check in the front storage cavities for the wires

Mine has speakers on both sides of the front window behind the window shade.

Speakers

I have had a 1991 25 or 26 foot. And I now have a 2001 31B.
Both had speakers in the same location.
In the front next to the window they are on each side of the window. Note that the interior light/lamp fixtures are located in the same area directly below each speaker.
This is basically the same at the rear window. (Lamps below the speakers)
The speakers stand out and are easily seen.
Most likely they were removed.
Note: my 2001 came with an audiovox stereo system.

Our 2310H had a light hidden behind the front window shade that we didn't discover for some time after we brought it home. 2010 models had a different front wall, unfortunately. There was a curved window with a shelf area and there were no lights on either side like the older models.
