Default Upload manuals/brochures

I scanned the '77 manual and '77 brochure. They exceed the size limits on uploads. What is the magic path to make these available to everyone?

I would suggest to scan and save to JPG also compress, then convert to PDF, the PDF file has to be under 7 mbs or it won't upload, even though it says 19.07 max. So you have to break the manual up into under 7mb PDF files and the max that you can upload per post is 5.
Hope you understand this if not ask.

The manual will have to be broken into 2 parts. You have to use PDF as all other uploads are small.
There are several free PDF converters. I have (Solid PDF Creator) on this computer, however I used my wife's because the scanner and software are on it. She is using it right now so I can't get the name of the one I used till later. Cute also has a free converter. She left me look it was (Primo PDF)
Forgot putting in zips won't work.
When I said compress I meant compress the JPG before saving. Your scanner software should let you compress by a percentage as you save to JPG.

Depending on file sizes you might not have to compress the JPG pages.
You can upload 5 PDF files under 7 MB per post for a total of just under 35 MB.

I assumed that you knew how to do an upload, just in case here is how.
Do not do a quick post, instead click on post in the lower left, this will open a post window with all the extras at the top. Click on the paper clip, this will bring up the upload window, browse to the PDF file in your computer, you may have to open several things to get to the file, high light it then click upload, takes a few seconds to start, if everything is ok it will upload, if you have more than one file just repeat, up to 5 files per post.

Got'r done. Given size limits its almost impossible without PDF format. If anyone has a problem with reading these, I'll try another formatter. I used one quite a while back but it seems a lot of people couldn't read the results with their browser or a genuine Adobe reader. We'll see how this coverter "Primo" works this time.

Will work on the AC/Toilet/DC converter/Waterheater/Furnace another day....

Ark, I see you were able to upload a file bigger than 7 MB, when I did mine that was the max. maybe something was fixed, which is great. I sent several complains to different people. Primo is very popular and should be no problem, will go look at your upload.

Just checked your upload it looks great when open with Adobe, good job.
