Where would we find the vin on 1983 HiLo. We have looked on the tongue . Any other ideas? Peggy

J R Repair might know, give them a call, or maybe you already did. I can't believe that there are so many old Hi-Lo s showing up on the forum.

I can't speak for how they did it on your 83 but on our 96 & 04 models we have 2 different stickers/labels on the trailer one is on upper left front corner bottom half and one is on right side upper half left side. It's also on our registeration and also on title. It's pouring here right now but I kinda remember a sticker on one of the inside cabinets that gave the GRW don't know if it had vin on it or not. I do know both outside stickers do have the vin number though

OK found it. on the tongue under the gas tank pan. It is in real bad shape with pitting but after wire brushing, we can make out most of the #'s hopefully it is enough to get it registered. Thank you all. Got ahold of J and R and he said to try the tongue again. Will be taking it to them for some repair as soon as we get it registered. Peggy
