Hi Rich, I made some mods to our 2310. I can see if I can post some pictures. My wife is happy with the extra room, so I must of did something right!

Did the same mod a few months ago, using the door as drawer fronts. The lower drawer needed another piece of trim which I found at the orange store. All it needed was a few passes through the planer. As each drawer is DEEP, I added a couple of strips on the inner sides to make sliders for shallower trays. DSO really loves the system. We have a platform under the queen mattress which gives us more drawer space. I've never used a starched white shirt when camping.

Tree - I'm shocked! You don't have a tux so you can "dress for dinner"?

What separates you from the savages?

Jack, I have a T-shirt that LOOKS like a tux. As far as the savages, that's what I call the g-kids, so it works out perfect! Meantime, the drawers work much better that the wardrobe ever did.
Note: With the platform under the mattress and drawers on each side, it allows a space of about 16" down the center. Perfect for tackle box and 4 poles. Two folding bikes stowed in the shower(padded on three sides) keep us mobile. Some of the trailer mods I see coming here give me great ideas, I just have to find time to incorporate them.
