Neal and Bev own the board.

I think every February the contract needs to be renewed for the webhosting of the forum.

Thank you, Neal and Bev!!

Fireball,

Yah, the HTF went down for a couple of days last year too! Wonder how many panic attacks our members suffered!

Default Good to have the forum back

Neal and Bev.,Let us know if you need $ to run the site. I would be glad to contribute. Just think of all the $ we have saved by getting advice to do our own repairs.

I believe that the advertisements that show up on the screen pay for the website.

Hello everyone!

Sorry about the down time on the board. Les hit the nail on the head about what happened.

Sam that is very nice of you to offer, thank you. Rich is right that people clicking on the advertisments is what pays the bill. Sometimes its a little short, sometimes its a little over, but it always works out.

Thanks everybody, lets sneak out of work and go camping!

Neal and Bev

Thanks for taking care of the site. Maybe we can all help out by clicking on the ads a little more

I will be sure that everytime I leave - I will click on an ad. I am sure most people would if they new so please pass the word - or maybe put a sticky up?
I don't remember if you sent me an e-mail when I signed up - but that might be a good place to mention it.
I would like to thank you Neal and Bev for doing this. It is a great resource.

Thats a good idea, BUT... we're not allowed to do that. Advertisers pay for each click because they assume that the person clicking it is curious about the ad. If a web site intentionally asks people to click on the ads then they will loose their advertising account. I can understand that and its fair really.

I would also like to say thank you to all the members of the HTF board. It's all the wonderful things that you all share that make HTF what it is.

I clicked on the forum and got this blonde staring at me; I thought that I had logged on to some Scandinavian site by mistake. Is that you Bev?
Anyway; it's nice to see this forum again.

Well now that I'm paying more attention to the ads I've realized I really am interested in some of their offers! I just always ignored them before.

As Boater454 said, I am now more interested. I like RVs and RV products so I will just look as I leave or be sure and visit here as I shop.
