Default Just camp back from a weekend of camping

Several families in Our HiLo camping group have purchased other trailers for a variety of reasons. However, they say you just can't beat the ease of towing with the HiLo in the down travel position. Very aerodynamic.

I went from getting 14mpg towing the towlite to 9.5 towing our new Forrest River, same as truck, same speeds, same roads. It doesn't tow any "better" it just has so much less frontal aera which is your #1 energy user at 65mph by far. I have both still because I like the towlite so much as long as you don't have more then 2-3 people although now that the wife has slept in the beautiful new camper I think she wouldn't want to take the old one even if it were just the 2 of us going out.

What Hersbird said. New 30' coachmen pulls very nicely behind the F150. However in cross winds I notice a little, very little rocking with the passing of the oncoming big truck/semi. Best mileage with the 2404T with the F150 was 13.5ish, best so far with the Coachmen 11.2 on a recent trip to the U.P. Which included about 45 miles at 40 to 45 mph in 4 wheel drive due to torrential rain on 173 between Tomah and Wisconsin Rapids.

I think miniceptor used to tow his with a Tacoma. You may be a bit on the edge of things depending on how much gear you have in the trailer/truck bed.
