Smile I did it. heres a few

Ah Ha I found it and did it LOL happy camper It had free in black spray paint on it and a signed title on the door in a field. I was on the way to the dr. and I had a 22 ft prowler I was living in. I just survived and was cured of base of tongue cancer in april. I had to move the big camper I was living in from my sisters and had no where else to take it or go. I couldn't pull it with my s-10 then out of the blue GOD stepped in and this is how it came to be. the fridge is on wheels and I made a pull out bed up front. the burner folds down against the wall also after the fridge is moved. then I can pull my bed out. I also have done some rewiring and put in outlets and switches added and outside lite fixture, rewired all the lights and removed the 2 big 20 lb propane tanks from the front. I am converting to 1 lb bottles for just the 1 burner. I will have electric or propane heat and a 750 watt power inverter along with new solar panels and I have a 100 amp hr battery and will have 12vdc also with solar led lites. right now I don't even have 100 bucks in it. the ceiling is carpet tiles I found in sum ones trash and I bought j channel at home restore place. Oh yeah I paid a whopping $2.00 for the counter and I never even measured it same thing happened with the wardrobe counter top also. that is actually sitting on the other counter top not the sink. it also fit the sink counter with no cutting at all. both of them did. I also went to a curb alert. there was nothing left and I drove almost by where I found the camper and on top of sum 1's trash can was a brand new crank up vent with the screen and air maxx flow cover on it a 50 dollar value for free again. LOL good thing because I forgot and tiled over the old ceiling vent LOL now I got to cut that out and put the new one in. this is all true. things for this just keep falling in my lap.

Looks good, maestro! Unless you plan to travel with the trailer, you can certainly wait on tire replacement.

Certainly can't beat the cost of modifications you've put into it so far! Congratulations!

Thank You for the feedback, The burner is off of a free charbroil grille, I found and fixed LOL. I haven't found anything I cant cook with 1 burner stove, and a microwave LOL
I actually grossed $167 in august, and $67 in September, at the auction from free trash items I pick up from dumpsters and cans. yard sales and trash cans is where it's at.
I also do plan on some 1 tank trips here very soon tho. I have rims need good and skinnier tires, and it has 15,70's x 215 on it. I had to actually jack it up to the point of tipping, to get the tire in the fender well. had I been on the road I would have been screwed. It isn't all perfection, I aint to great of a carpenter like some. If I wanted/needed perfection I guess i'd buy a new one. it is what it is I am only 3 years older than the camper. the title says 1964 more I look it is a 1965 model 800 voyager. it only has 5 vin characters and cant be found.

thank you and that's all without any pain pills in over 2 years! I know its not a health forum tho LOL :0 I am proud of myself. I am afraid I may never finish the camper. then I get bored and my mind wanders into doing other bad habits I don't like. so I will probably work on it till the cows come home it will be laid out that's for sure. I got to get something new to take pics with. thank you all.

It would probably say a lot of aggravation if you replaced all the cables.

Agree with Garry. I suspect if one goes, the others are not far behind. They're all subjected to the same environment/stress and have all probably had the same level of non-care.

Default tires on the HiLo

You are right. Some of the tires rub on the wheel wells. Our HiLo was owned buy a family with a tire shop. The tires he put on were a little bit wide and caused some wheel well damage. I hope your craigs list find works out for you.

I removed the 2 20 lb tanks up front and got a sump pump cistern to hold water. also collect rain water. It can run on 12vdc or 110ac. it pumps to a right now 5 gallon holding tank under the storage bin up front. that goes to an electric switch to the water faucet for electric running water. I took the insides from a coffee pot and when I turn that on I have instant boiling water from the spigot. its inline with the water supply. I put 2 shutoff valves in and am putting in a filter also. the 12vdc all will be solar powered . my sink drain just goes to the ground. replacing front cable today was going to go with the vinyl coated cable, but decided against that. also
3/16 "can be used, which would be a lot better cable. just going to make some greaser plates. hoping to take my 1st one tank trip here very soon.
