Do you need any manuals or instructions? The library lists manuals for different years. Pick one for the year closest to yours, there is very little difference between year and model. Check the video manual at the top of the listing.

The lift switches may be different in the video from your model because there was a change along the way. Just check in a manual.

Thank you Sir RichR for aiding me in getting going on here. Already found near model owners manual on here. I "Cheated" a little I guess? I opted to have a RV Dealership Shop do an inspection on all systems to be sure everything is functioning, no leaks,no hidden dangerous things I might not know to look for yet. I am wondering if I should get some "Helper a Springs" on my F150? I think I read somewhere that my tongue weight is 350 lbs? ;-) I don't own a WD hitch either. Will have to see.

We strongly recommend a weight distributing hitch. Check out some on ETrailer. Once you get this set up your for towing. Take it to a weigh scale when you are loaded for a trip. See if your set up sits level and how it feels when towing. Post a picture of your set up.

I know your post is a few years old now, but my husband and I are looking into buying a High low. There is a 1994 for sale not far from where we live. Just wondering how you like it, did you have any problems with it? Just concerned because it is a 26 yr old trailer.

That picture of the 1994 Funlite is interesting. Looks like the propane tanks are right against the bottom section. How could the top ever come down with them in that position? Am I missing something here?

Roger, I think the owner simply removed the propane cover and placed it on top of the battery compartment. The picture doesn't show the actual tanks which I think are just off the right side of the picture.

My old propane tank cover had to be removed to access the valves on the tanks. I got a new one that has a door on top for that purpose. I suspect his is the old style.

Welcome to the forum. This was taken from NDgent's post here on the forum. It is a great go-by list. You can do a search of thinking about buying and find his post to read it first hand.

Basically, start with the visual items –
1. Exterior
• Look for water stains and discoloration on inside walls and around ceiling anywhere vents, skylights, windows, etc. exist.
• Push and prod with your hand on the inside walls for soft spots (which could indicate a water leak and a damaged or rotten interior wall).
• Check for bubbles in the wallpaper (a sign of delimitation or water intrusion)
2. Interior cleanliness of the unit-
• Look for water stains and discoloration on inside walls and around ceiling anywhere vents, skylights, windows, etc. exist.

3. Test appliance functions –
• lights
• fans
• refrigerator
• air conditioner
• heater
• water pump
• range hood
• stovetop
• oven (if equipped)
• microwave (if equipped)
• stereo (if equipped)
4. Lift System-
• Does the unit raise and lower properly
• Check the lift system for hydraulic leaks (puddle under the trailer)
• Check the lift cables to see if they are in good shape and not frayed
• Check the seal between the upper and lower body halves for tears or damage
5. fill the tanks to the top and check for leaks
6. Battery
7. Solar Panel (if equipped)
