Default caulk removal

Hi, i have some bad caulk on my 2193 funlite. I was just reviewing the ways to remove the old caulk. One person said that it could be done with rubbing alcohol. Most seemed to favor the tools. The tools take forever. Has anyone tried the rubbing alcohol?

Default removing old caulk

My electronic technician brother inlaw told me his co. bought rubbing alcohol by the 55 gallon barell for caulk removal. It is a long process with tools to remove caulk. No easy fast way that I know of. Ease the pain by listening to your favorite music. Lexel caulk is a good one to use for recaulking.
