Default Day/Night shades

Has anyone ever restrung one of the day/night shades, if so can you offer any advice as to how it is done?

Thanks Richard ror007@aol.com

Richard,

Google "how to restring rv day/night shades". The page that comes up will give you several sites with instructions plus several videos on youtube showing how to do it.

Go to You Tube and search for, "restring day night shades" and "restring RV shades." There are a few videos there.

Smile Restring shades

I just ordered a kit for $19.95 from Amazon and it will do 2 to 3 shades. If you do not want to restring them HILo in Butler sells replacements and there is a small white tag on the bottom of the shade which gives the exact dimensions for ordering a replacement. Joe Jones

Default Pleated Shade Repair Kit

That kit is better than the one I got and the shades are made by United the same company that provides that kit. Joe Jones
