Default 90 Classic restoration,Home from the Hosp.

The long story short with out a lot of details. I spent thirteen days in the hospital. The longest stay ever. The surgery went well. He only found another not so great mushy area in another part of the abdomen. Just about as he was ready to send me home I developed a Huge extremely painful bowel obstruction in the mushy part of the abd. It was touch and go if he was going to have to open me up again and the fix the problem. I improved enough that surgery was canceled. Pretty scary when morphine barely touches the pain. Any way thanks for all the prayers. I surely needed them and benefited from my pastoral care from the Sisters. However being a Nurse I know the reality of my situation is the that the problem will happen again and the surgery will take priority. I knew I had a growth on my thyroid and had a sonogram while I was in. I must have my thyroid removed when I am healed up. Then when all this over I can have the bursitus/shouldery surgery. It will probably be about summer time and I will put all this behind me and enjoy our completed HiLo restoration!!!! Kepp e in yours prayers for a speedy recovery. My daughter,Melissa posted for me while I was in the Hosp.

Default 90 HiLo Classic restoration

While I was in the Hospital Hubby was able to complete th restoation. He had enough drops the panel the bottom half of the BR. Just had to order another roll of seam tape. I haven,t been able to see the completed work. I wanted to do a final clean up and take pictures, This will wait until the spring as it is in the diwn position and the battery is taken out. He just has to remove some more things from the garage and do a good clean up with the shop vac. This worked out timewise as he will be able to keep the housework up as I recooperate. Final words on the Restoration. It always takes longer than you think, more money ande materials. AQnyone doing this should plan on loosing the use of the HiLo for the better part of the season. Didn't exactly keep track of expenses, maybe $1,000. Looks brand new again. Now onto the twenty things on the household fit it list.!!!
