GiGi; You can get the solenoid at an auto parts store. It is a 12 volt starter solenoid. Take the bad one with you so you get the new one with the correct mounting brackets that match the bad one.

It is the same starter solenoid that Ford uses.

Depends on what year ford and model, they had many different configurations over the years.
