1991 FunLite Manual

Found this 1991 FunLite in Lake City, Michigan. Knew it needed some work but I can face most mechanical and construction issues. Electrical issues tax my fix-it limits. Love the site and have found many answers. I think 1991 manual would be helpful. How do I find the manuals? Would love to get in touch with other Michigan HiLo owners. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the Forum!

Congrats on the 'new' Hi-Lo!

To find a manual go to the top of this page and click on "Hi-Lo camper travel trailer forum" which will bring you to the page that you sign in on. Scroll down the page to the Library and look for owners manuals. Click there and a whole list of threads will come up containing manual listings and requests. If you find a manual that is close to 1991 it will probably work because the manuals didn't change much from year to year and were not model specific. Also, at the top of the listing you will see video manuals, that should be watched to get some important info about the operation and care of Hi-Lo trailers. They were made in about 2005 but most of the info applies to all.

Only found a couple of manuals. Looking at a 95-96 manual. Can't find where water pump is located. Also it looks like my tank is damaged. Will try to attach picture. No picture. Haven't figured it out yet.

Try the 1990 Hi-Lo Classic manual, it would be very close: https://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f49/...-classic-2016/

As for photos, click on the "post reply", click on the "paper clip" icon, there you can upload from your computer by browsing you photos files.

Go to FAQ at the top of this page and then click on "Reading and Posting Messages", under that you will find info on posting images.

Look near where the fresh water fill is outside. I would guess the water pump will be located near that.

Fresh water tank

Hope this picture comes through. This is the middle support under my fresh water tank. Is it normal? Looks like it has frozen and bulged out. Would my tank withstand this or am I looking at a replacement. Also had leak in ceiling on curbside of my FunLite 22. After cleaning debris from between canopy and side of trailer, it hasn't been wet. Getting ready to remove paneling from ceiling so I can check and repair as necessary. Lots of other things to work on. Reading back posts every night. Learning lots!

Water Tank

The water tank itself is probably fine, they insulate and then skin them before mounting them under the trailer. The problem is those tanks are heavy and standard tube steel is not up to the task.

We just went through this repair on our 1982, I took the tube steel off after draining the tank and replaced it with either stainless or galvanized steel struts in the place of the tubing. Its probably a $30 repair and you can get the materials at any home improvement store.

This is what we used, they also sell washers to go with it so you can use the existing bolts.
