Hubby and friends are almost finished replacing the cables on our 31 foot Classic but need to know if when hooking up the new cables to the anchor bolts on the upper half should the Hilo be in the up or down position. They have been working all weekend on this and hope to get it finished today

zookeeper, I've never had to do it, however if I was going to, I would raise the top to where it belongs with 2x4s, then hit the button and extend the ram till I heard the safety bar engage, then I would know the top and the ram are both in the up position and hook the upper half to the lower half. Good Luck.

PS make sure the cables are pulled tight before swaging

It should but in the UP position, Level with the Weather Seal in place tight, then as Gary says
