Lost wheel cover
Well it finally happened. We lost a hub cap slash wheel cover on the way home from one of the closest trips we ever make. I really liked the stock wheel covers, so I drove back and tried to find it with no success. What is the best replacement? I guess I'm buying four new ones. It just seems that all of the new stuff looks cheap compared to the oem stuff. By the way, I'm old school and tacky, by today's standards. I like chrome and raised white letters.

Rusted, I've lost two of those covers now The replacements at Camping World are fairly close in looks to the OEM ones So close, that I wouldn't recommend getting four new ones. You could simply replace the two on one side if the difference bothered you, keeping the one you took off as a "temporary spare" when the next one falls off.
You can probably get these covers online from other places too. They don't cost very much. - Jack |
Thank you, Jack!
Thank you so much. I will head to Camping World and check that out. I didn't expect this answer. I've been looking for an excuse to go to Camping World anyway. This is why I love the forum. Great people and great advice.

I lost a center hub cap on my 2807C and found exactly what I needed. It is sold as "Dicor Versaloc" and can be purchased just about anywhere.... I learned it was a twist-on and never lost another!!!!
