We've had our 2307C for about 2 years. Our trips so far have not been in really buggy (mosquitoes and no-see-ums) seasons or areas. There look to be large gaps around the door when it is closed. Anyone have any ideas about sealing these against the bugs?

We spray the door cracks with off bug spray this works pretty well in the day time. At night time we roll a towel up and lay it across between the bottom and top door. I was going to put foam weather striping around but never got to it.

I have put the foam weatherstrip on my 95 but it isn't perfect. Too thick and you can't close the door not thick enough it doesn't work. I like the OFF spray idea PopRichie.

I have the same problem; the gap is big enough for a giant bug to crawl in..
I wonder why the engineers left this problem. Surely it was noticed by quality control if they had a department like that??? My wife stuffs paper towels in the cracks with a "bounce" anti-static sheet in there somewhere. Mosquitos don't like the smell; plus these "bounce" sheets clean the lovebugs off of your car if you put a little water on them and scrub the bugs off. |
