Default AC DC power converter / fan

Should the fan on the AC to DC power converter on our 2201TL Hi-Lo run all the time or does it just run when the unit gets hot?

Ours is located under the couch and bolted to the front wall of the camper. When I was cleaning out the area under the couch area, found all sorts of "treasures" btw, I noticed that the fan was NOT running, the camper was plugged into shore power and I don't know if this is normal or not.

The fan usually only runs when there is a large draw on the converter, like when the battery is in a heavy charge mode or when you have all the lights turned on at the same time. It is thermally controlled, I believe.

RichR,
That's good news on the fan. On the pop-up that we camped in the fan came on as soon as you turned anything on, it was loud and annoying.

Thanks!

Neal
