Default heater will not stay on . . .

Hi all, I recently purchased a 2204T and love it!

The only issue I'm noticing for now is the heater. I turn it on and it does come on with no issues but after about 20 or 30 minutes I hear a clicking noise and the blower will stop. About 3 seconds after the blower stops I'll hear a clicking noise and the blower will come back on (with no heat) for a few seconds and the cycle repeats . . . clicking noise cold air blows then stops then clicking noise cold air blows then stops etc.

No other issues i'm noticing (oven works, fridge works, stove top works).

Wondering if anyone has had the exact same problem and possibly how to fix it.

I have no shame in calling an expert as well.

For now I've been using a generator attached to an electric heater but it's a pia to have to refuel at 3 a.m.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

-Mike

Hi Mike,

Take a look at Luckydog's post here:

http://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f29/...nace-fix-4935/

You may want to change out the pressure regulator. When we had heater problems with our 1997 21 Ft Towlite and also in our 2006, changing the gas pressure regulator at the tanks made all the difference in the world.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I'm going to pick up a regulator for cheap ($15-craigslist) tomorrow. Looks like I can also order a replacement thermostat for $15 on amazon. We'll see if these help.

Yup! Regulators DO go bad. I've had to change about three of them in my years using propane.
