Default Water heater

Thanks to all for all the help on my previous posts! Now, I am wondering on how to start the water heater. I read the instructions on the inside of the water heater access, but it states to push the "red" button to ignite the pilot. I see no "red" button. Ideas anyone? Thanks in advance. One other thing. Any Hi Loer's in Tennessee?

Will the above ignite the pilot, or is a match needed.

Default Water Heater

Thanks for the info. Have had this trailer for a few months now, and about time we try all the toys in it.

Remote ignition was obviously an 'option' because mine takes a match as well. you should be able to find manual for your water heater with a carefull google search for brand & model. All my campers that had water heaters before this hilo I have now, had remote ignite and an on off button inside.

My 1966 takes a Stock pot on the burner to heat the water that way. It has no water heater. LOL
