Default Alpine California camping

We are leaving home on April 12th for our West Coast trip. We went this same way last year, although we are adding some more destinations, once we hit California. We have to share one area in Alpine,California where we camped last year and will be camping again this year. It is on an Indian reservation and the name is Ma-Tar-Awa. What a very nice, clean place with good rates. People are some of the friendliest people we have met. As a matter of fact, we are going to have a good 'ol home cooked Polish meal for the 5 women who work there, and their husbands, when we go. There is a Polish deli in my wife (who is Polish) and my (100% Irish) neighborhood where we were both raised, that is in their 4th generation and they make some of the best Polish sausage you will find in St. Louis. Definitely consider Ma-Tar-Awa on your next trip to southern California. They are only 35 miles east of San Diego on Interstate 8 Guarantee, you will not regret it.

NDgent (John),

Could be wrong, but I'm under the impression that it was a possibility that TJM (Tom) was going to try to link up with you during their big California trip (which I think is still in progress).

I'm just curious if you've heard from them and if so, how the trip is going for Tom and Judy.

Jim
