Default Boondocking Mogollon Rim AZ

Got back late last night from boondocking 4 nights on the Mogollon Rim in northern AZ. We were on Fr237 a few miles from Willow Springs Lake. Great area lots of pines and 7,700 ft elevation. Monsoon rain several afternoons and cool temps. Did some hiking and found a beautiful spot back in the woods that overlooked a creek winding through a canyon. Lots of wildlife and some very cute little birds who hung out with us while taking in the view. Willow Springs lake is another Kodak spot we took in. Water was clear and cool.
After a camp fire and some adult beverage each night we would retire to the trailer to watch a video or a little TV. I could pick up a couple channels on the 12v Tv and DVD player we have. I have all LED lighting in the trailer and even with watching a couple hours TV each night I only had to charge the Batteries one time in 5 days for a couple hours to keep them above 75%. I have a Honda 2000 Gen. that was worth every penny when you hear how quiet it is.

Great pictures, Tom. It's pretty up on the Rim, isn't it?

They've got severe fire restrictions in the mountains down here. No fires, no smoking, not even any generator use.

They lifted the fire restrictions on the rim just last Friday. Prior to that it was like your area, no fires or generators.
