I've only been to Bodega Bay once but if I remember correctly, isn't that the cg that sticks out into the bay?

Yes, the Porto Bodega campground sticks out into Bodega Bay. It is one of two campgrounds that have hookups in Bodega Bay, and the one that has water views though it can be very windy.
