Hi Pop,

Great pictures! Looks like you folks have a lot of fun snow-birding. But I am curious... doesn't that walking path, in the second photo of your first submission, have a leash rule? I notice that you forgot to put a leash on your pet there in the pic.

Jim

Yes, pics 2,3,4and 5 are at Shark Valley. Pic1 is at a park that is part of the Fishing bridge below Tampa.
Pic 6 is a Flamingo. Pic 7 is at Long Pine Key
Pics 8, 9 and 10 are at a canal campground in the Blocks, it was a great place, the lots were so big that you could easily put a half dozen trailers on each one and it was allowed. It was gone this year the State of FL took all the roads out and the canals, returned it to nature. A very large track of land.

yes, 2010 was a good trip, was much better than 2011, cause I was sick a lot. Not too much fun being sick in a camper, only good thing was it was warm.

Default Fla

Glad that you had a great time.

Warning while the pic next to the gator is cool understand one thing. A gator can out run you for several hundred yards. If it wants you, your had. Unless you have someone with you that you can run faster than. Or a dog on a leash. Lots of gators get dog on a leash every month or so it seems.

Stay safe. Lots of nice places to visit here in Fla.

Later Tim

Default Ortona South Florida

Just a note to anyone interested: We are presently located at the campsite in Ortona South, Florida, just a few miles from La Belle, Florida. This is a beautiful site with large lots for each unit. Only 50 sites, but right on the river and very nice facilities. If anyone needs more info just email me.
