I just received, and installed, my new Sunbrella trailer cover from the CalMark Cover Co. From the time I gave them my credit card info, to fabrication and receipt of my cover, it was only 8 days (including a weekend). That is super-fast, in my opinion.

It fits exceptionally well and was easy to put on. The quality of fabrication is excellent too. It comes with two straps that go around the trailer near the front and the back which is all I will use. In addition, though, it has grommets around the lower edge that you could hook bungee cords into to apply even more "hold-down" across the bottom. And, if that's not enough, there is a draw cord along the bottom edge that, if pulled, would snug that part of the cover even more.

The color is light gray, almost "silvery" and, while I wasn't sure I'd like it as well as a light tan color, I've found it looks great!

I'm posting pictures so you can see how well it fits. The last one is a bit difficult to make out, but it shows the zippered door opening so you can raise the trailer (after releasing the straps), without having to take the cover off. Clicking on the door picture will show it upright, instead of on its side.

This cover replaces my old Sunbrella cover that lasted 10 years. I suspect this one may outlive me!

Very nice cover. I'm thinking of a cover for mine seeing how I lost my indoor storage. I wonder how well it would hold up to a New York winter. What does something like that run?

Tom, I think this cover would work very well in New York. It is NOT waterproof, which is a good thing. You don't want water collecting and staying UNDER the cover. This one allows everything to "breath" and dry out. I think the major threat to trailers is the sun. It degrades paint and caulk which can lead to leaks. So far, I have had NO leaks in my trailer. It has always had the cloth cover for almost all of the 10 years I've owned it. I built the carport cover for it 3 years ago, to give added protection.

My cover cost me $560 plus $64 shipping. This seems high, I know, but it is warranted for 6 years (my old one lasted 10) and, when you consider the cost of the trailer and the cost/work associated with repairs due to exposure to the elements, it seems cheap insurance to me.

Before I decide, I'm going to look for indoor storage first but at least the option is there with a pretty quick lead time.
