Default Farenheit Elite Remote

Anyone know where a Farenheit Elite 899-R cd player remote control can be purchased ? I can't find this model cd player any where on the web, much less the remote.

I think your best bet is to buy a Universal remote at an electronics store.

Or, if a universal remote won't work, just replace the whole thing (possibly you could pipe the video to the installed flat screen though).

I've never heard of the "Fahrenheit" brand before seeing it in our trailer. Doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence in me - but so far, it works ok.

Try Big Lots if you have one nearby or maybe you have an Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I bought an RCA universal remote at Ollie's for $2.99.

Default Farenheit DVD-23

My 2207 TowLite Hi-Lo came without any audio/video equipment so after Google solutions I settled on the Farenheit DVD-23 (In-Dash DVD/DVD-RW/VCD/CD/CDR/CDRW/MP-3/MP-4/DivX and AM/FM Player), which I purchased for about $100.00.

The obvious place to install it in the overhead cabinet above the sink was all ready equipped with 12V wiring and the supply end of the speaker wires. Once again I thank Hi-Lo for pre-wiring everything for me, although I would have preferred 12 gauge speaker wires ... but these will do! The Farenheit installation was straight forward, just knock out the plywood paneling connect (which is more easily accomplished if first you first remove the range hood, allowing you to reach into the upper cabinet easier) the 12 volts and speakers. OH! I did have to fabricate an antenna wire so I could connect the Frarenheit to the Winegard antenna, fortunately there is a provision on the amplified jack panel for a second "set" to connect the coax. All I did was to replace a coax connector on one end of my antenna wire with a Motorola Type antenna jack, and plugged it together. Next the speakers..

I also ran a component video cable from the Farenheit to a RCA jack panel I fabricated and installed it adjacent to the antenna. This I will use to connect my TV to the DVD function of the Farenheit. The mounting of a flat Screen is a future project which I will document later.

Default Pyle Speakers

Next came the speakers! I used a jig saw to cut the hole using the supplied template, then I placed a piece of 3/4 inch plywood behind the cutout and marked the hole position so I could cutout in this reinforcing panel aligned with the original hole ... I did this so the 3/16 inch plywood wouldn't rattle when the stereo was blasting the National Anthem! A little glue and a clamp was all that I used to fasten things together. The speaker installation was straight forward especially since the wires were already there.

It looks like you have done a great job and will be getting much enjoyment from it. Now, can anyone tell me where the speaker placement is on a 2310H?
