Default Sealing roof

Has anyone used Eternabond Roof Seal tape? Was wondering how it lasted and it was to work with. Was going to seal the joints in the roof this spring. Since I have covered it up for the winter. Trying to get my jobs lined out. I have got a lot of good information from this form. Wife and I can't wait till spring to take it on a trip.

Yup, I've used EternaBond tape on my trailer to hold my three, 100 Watt solar panels down on the roof. It is truly "eternal", and will take a lot of work on your part to remove it should you ever feel the need.

It's held up very well over the three years it's been on the roof of my trailer. I see no degradation at all.

It's a bit fussy to work with, because the film covering the sticky side is a bit difficult to remove and then the tape is fairly easy to stretch, which you do NOT want to do as you lay it down. Once it contacts the surface, it's bonded, so you cannot reposition it. Work slowly and patiently and you'll be happy with the results. I did all the work with it myself, but think an extra pair of hands would make the job easier.

Ditto to both JJ and cva34....our 2004 22' came to us with a 14" crack on the rear cap in the upper right hand corner. The second owner, we are the third, told us the first owner damaged it and made the repair. The repair is solid if not particularly pretty as it is so visible. I keep waiting for it to fail but it has't these last two years.

Looks like this is the way to go. I'm going to wait till spring when the temp. is more stable. Missouri weather is to unstable right now, temp. is up and down.
Thanks for the info

Yes I used the Eternalbond tape on all of the seems of my roof. I made sure the roof was clean. I put the tape down then I used "dicor lap sealant" on both sides of the tape. I did it about 3 years ago and only took my HiLo out a few times but it seems to hold and do a good job.

Finally got the roof sealed. The Eternabond tape worked good looks like a great seal on all the roof joints. Two people makes it go a lot better. Pic in album.
