Default 2004 24 Towlite end cap question

I have read many posts that the end caps on early to mid 2000's towlites may be made of plastic and not fiberglass. Can anyone confirm this? If they are made of plastic, does anyone know what type of plastic they are made of. I have some small cracks at the corners I would like to plastic weld, but I need to be sure of the type of plastic so I can reinforce it with the correct stock.
Thanks for the help!

I believe it is ABS but I could be wrong. Only Classic models had fiberglass end caps. Regardless of what material it is and what method you use to bond it, drill a 1/8" hole at the very end of each crack to stop it from going any further. It basically spreads the stress in all directions.
