new sink

Thanks to the info from campthewestcoast, I installed a new, more functional faucet system at the kitchen sink. Along with a new single bowl stainless drop-in sink. wOw what a difference! Not much difference in size and adhesive caulk holds it in place. MUCH more usable. DSO is real happy even though I do dishes. Old sink on top of new shows the difference. The hose laying in the sink shows required travel position.

That's looks great! What type of paint did you use on your cabinets? Also, do you have pictures of your camper? Looking for ideas!

RSTOUT, Thanks for noticing. During extended camping trips we brought along a product called "TSP", available from the big orange box store, follow directions, this allows paint to adhere to the surfaces. We used white and gray latex paint and has held up for a couple of years. Note: on high usage areas, like the top ledges and cabinets,we used gloss paint for easier cleaning Works for me.

Tree, that looks great. I see a similar remodel in my future! Is that faucet with spray handle also from big orange?

Beautiful job! Could you tell us what faucet you used and where it came from as we have been looking and didn't see anything that short in our local area. Thanks!

Hi all, got lucky today with internet in the desert. The faucet is from Lowes. Called Project Source #0553401. I got that info entering "kitchen sink" in the search heading. I looked it up at lowes on line and ensured it was in stock at my local store.
A reminder.... You must remove the sprayer all the way and lay it in the sink before lowering the top or it will suffer damage! Pretty decent product. Tree |
