Website Issue?
 

In the last couple days I've been getting a popup asking for authentication (to a German website, whhu.de).

After a little sleuthing, it seems to be coming from this forum-whemever I load/reload a page from here, I get an authentication popup. (See attached).

Web admin- any ideas what's going on?

Knotty and Web Admin - I'm not having that issue. I use Firefox as my web browser and I have AdBlock Plus and Ghostery installed.

Just throwing this out in case it might help. The popup looks a bit like malware to me.

I agree - it looks like a bogus redirect. Interesting thing is, this is on Android, and I keep tight controls on permissions (plus it only happens here). Weird, for sure. I'll test elsewhere tomorrow.

I haven't seen it either and I use Chrome on my Android. Do you have any security software installed like McAfee or Avast? That could help.

Well clearly it's just me. It was just odd I saw the behavior only on the HiLo forum.

Seems to have gone away now (closed all pages and reloaded).

Please make sure that you have some security running on your device. Mobile devices can be targeted with virus, malware and unwanted adware the same way a computer can be. It sounds like you have some unwanted adware and while it's probably mostly harmless, should be removed.
